Just another WordPress.com weblog. July 18, 2010. We picked up my new saddle in June, along with new saddle bags. I decided to buy one after a 12-day horse-ride through the Andes. It was simply the most comfortable saddle I have ever used. Somehow it manages to distribute your weight evenly and so there are no pressure points. This is important when you are riding for up to 8 hours in one stretch. Completely hand-made, it is a beautiful piece of craftmanship, made by Isla, in Chillán, Chile.

Horse Riding Patagonia is a small horse riding company based at Estancia Vista Paine in Rio Serrano, next to the Torres del Paine National Park in Patagonia, Southern Chile. Estancia Vista Paine is a small farm, family owned for 4 generations.
