All of this material and much of the ash I shovel out of the stove(s) each morning are re-cycled into our leaf compost area, which is used each spring as amendments to our hosta gardens. The old adage of heating with wood strikes a familiar chord. Many Thanks to "Ward Landscaping". James Ward (Owner) Lance Tyler Zach. Two flagstone sidewalks had replaced the hand-made weedy sandstone paths to our front doors, the house was completely circumnavigated, a grand stone stairway curved past our pavilion down the hill to the base of our west gardens, and lastly a meandering path that eventually terminated below our east gardens at the family cemetery. So we did the unthinkable; we hired it done! When the project was finished some three months later ....

Welcoming our 10th Season-2014. We officially open for our 10th season Mothers Day Week-end. We will be open Saturdays 9-5 and Sundays 10-4 through June.
