Doma Hotel is on the waterfront, just beyond the fortified walls of Chania’s Old Town. Walking from the hotel to the Venetian harbour (one kilometre away) takes about 20 minutes along a scenic coastal promenade. The eastern suburb of Halepas has long been home to the city’s most elite residents, including the former Greek prime minister, Eleftherios Venizelos.
