http://agermanyear.blogspot.com/2009/09/la-narval-de-paris.html
Patrick's Continuing Adventures in Germany. Monday, September 21, 2009. La Narval de Paris. Apparently I didn't tell almost anyone back home that I was planning on going with my language school to Paris. Well, I went to Paris this weekend, and as you can guess, it was awesome. Talk about a beautiful city with endless amounts of art, culture, history, food, and public transit! I hadn't planned to go to Paris while living in Germany this year, but when the opportunity came, how could I say no? Familiar....

Wander(lust): Hotels

All about foreign travel, from Andalucia to Zanzibar (eventually). March 25, 2006. Hotel Review: Suenos Tulum. We returned a few days ago from Tulum, Mexico, a slice of perfection an hour and a half south of Cancun. Our hotel was Suenos Tulum. An oasis of bonhomie, blinding white sand, and sea that ranged from color of louched absinthe (well, let's just say light aqua) to turquoise to marine blue. The five. The lighting in the rooms is low-level, which can make it difficult to put on makeup, but the air-...

Honeymoon – Eric & Fiona

The McCrea Family Blog. Dinkelsbühl, Schwangau, Castles. Hi all. Fiona here. Day two in Dinkelsbühl, we took a carriage ride around the city, which was nice and mellow (and rainproof, due to the cover on the carriage key given the weather that day). I also learned what Elderberry Wine tastes like (good! Then we checked into our hotel in Schwangau. So amazing! Here we are, right up next to these towering mountains, in a sweet sunny room, with a view of the CASTLES! September 3, 2010. Now this is what I im...

August 2010 – Eric & Fiona

The McCrea Family Blog. Now this is what I imagined. This is the city I was thinking of when we decided to go wandering down the Romantische Straße. Rothenburg is not without its downsides, the main one being that it is the definition of a tourist town, but we care not. It is as perfectly preserved a medieval city as you can imagine. Every house looks frozen in time, ever street is paved with cobblestone. Quite simply, Fiona and I stepped in to Fairytale Land. Rothenburg is also home to a detailed Christ...
