Hotham History Project Committee meetings and activities are held on the 4th Tuesday of every second month. If you wish to attend a committee meeting we recommend you email the who will advise the venue for the meeting. Day number 238 of the year. A number of events are planned over the coming year, including public talks, walking tours and other gatherings. Members will be notified of any last minute changes to event details and the website listing will be updated as soon as possible. 27th August, 2016.

Audax Hotham Challenge
Eating out on the mountain. The Big One: Mount Hotham to Mount Buffalo (200 km). It’s still dark in Dinner Plain village as you kit up for the 200 km Audax Hotham Challenge. What will the weather gods bring: glorious late summer sunshine or some diabolical combination of cold, wind and rain? Bright to Mount Buffalo (70 km). Howitt Park in Bright is the starting point for the Mount Buffalo climb. What will the weather be like up on the mountain? Warm and sunny, cool and foggy, wet and windy?

The Hotham Cruisers Motorcycle Club started out as The Pingelly Motorbike Club in September 2006 when a small group met at the Pingelly Recreation Oval for a ride to Corrigin via Brookton. We were joined by 2 more riders at Brookton making a total of 9 bikes for the trip. More rides followed and because we received several calls from motorcycle enthusiasts outside the Pingelly area it was suggested that we form a new Motorcycle Club to cater for riders from all areas not just from Pingelly.
