Thursday, August 16, 2012. I recently had the pleasure of mentoring a budding artist, Ella. Can we say… 'enthusiastic', 'happy' and 'confident'? Plus, she's a ton of fun to hang out with. Along with jewelry making, Ella has a few other crazy, creative tricks up her sleeve – she sews with her mom, she draws, paints, dances and performs - - AND she sells some of her crafty creations at a local artisan boutique, The Design Garage. How cool is THAT? All I can say is…. Green and pink are two of her faves.

This morning my first-born got her drivers permit. So starts a new era in our lives. Children that drive. Its so surreal. I was pregnant with Savannah when the twin towers were attacked. Thursday, March 24, 2011. And Baby Dallas updates. Can't believe I haven't posted anything since baby Dallas was born! Well I can because lack of sleep has just been crazy over the last 5 weeks, but slowly it is getting better! I should be in bed right now so gonna make this quick! Dallas is doing great! At his 1 month he was 9 lbs. up from 7 lb 4 oz at his 1 week and up to 21 inches, up from 19! My mom came to visit during her spring break from nursing school and we had a lot of fun! I was so grateful!
