http://kidfromcranbrook.blogspot.com/2013/03/team-donatello.html
Friday, March 08, 2013. Here is a personal piece that I worked on during a couple weeks that I took off work. I wanted to stay sharp, and also I wanted to play with my new copy of Autodesk's Sketchbook Pro! Below is the finished piece and some work-in-progress stages. WIP #3. Line Weight. After putting down all of the clean up lines, I went through and added more weight to some carefully selected areas. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). New Westminster, BC, Canada. The Kid From Cranbrook: November 2010
http://kidfromcranbrook.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 27, 2010. I made a new page of random sketches at work this week. It's a great way to use the downtime that comes with Playblasting my scenes, and any other computer things that suck away the fun and creativity out of the day. Pencil on paper, and colour in Photoshop. I hope to do more of these. Saturday, November 06, 2010. Sketching from the Television. I managed a page of heads while watching The Midsomer Murders (great show! Green Col-Erase on paper. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The Kid From Cranbrook: Life With Baby No. 1
http://kidfromcranbrook.blogspot.com/2012/12/life-with-baby-no-1.html
Tuesday, December 25, 2012. Life With Baby No. 1. Cool panel layout. Looking forward to the next chapter :). I knew I wanted to keep the layout simple, but I very much liked the idea of the door becoming a framing device of its own, and even overlapping the panel above! Will Eisner did all kinds of amazing panel designs, and I admire his work so much that I try to steal from him as much as I can. Because stealing ideas isnt bad. Plagiarism? The Kid From Cranbrook: September 2011
http://kidfromcranbrook.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 27, 2011. Punched By The Bat. Another one done for the Sketch After Work. Done for a weekly sketch blog, Sketching After Work. That me and some friends at work are contributing to. The theme for this one was "Martial Arts Animal"! Wednesday, September 07, 2011. Yikes, seven months without a post. Well, it's not much but here are some thumbnails I did at work today for a character skipping. I haven't animated a skip in some time, so some action analysis was much needed.

The Kid From Cranbrook: October 2013
http://kidfromcranbrook.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 06, 2013. Lately I've been trying to loosen up my drawings, thus making them more fun to do! Ever since attending a drawing workshop with Louis Gonzales I feel like I've been pushing my drawings into a new, very fun direction. I'm trying not to get bogged down in what's actually. In front of me. Instead, I'm trying to capture a feeling. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). New Westminster, BC, Canada. View my complete profile. Chris Woods Animation (My Professional Page).
