Tuesday, September 18, 2012. We never heard of this school until Rob ran into a friend in Idaho who was from here and recommended it. I had never seen such huge trees until we were walking around campus one day. Do you see Rob? There are five 61 year old sequoias and they are the largest Christmas trees on a college campus. Friday, December 3, 2010. In September, our friends Jenny and Steve just moved back from Hawaii and got to visit Idaho for a few days. It was great seeing them! It was a really fun weekend. Friday, July 23, 2010. I am so happy today because it is our 6 year anniversary. It's cool because July 23rd was on a Friday that year too and the weather was just as perfect. We don't really buy each other gifts for our anniversary because we usually go do something fun (hotels, resorts, theme parks, shark diving, temple work). Tuesday, October 29, 2013. We have been so blessed to be able to visit Hawai'i every 2 years since we left 4 years ago. We have a free place to stay in the Allred's guest room, which makes the trip much more affordable. We wanted to try some new things when we went like kayaking to the Sunken Island in Kane'ohe Bay and Chinaman's Hat. We had to carry the kayak all the way to the water which was not easy after already kayaking a few miles. This guy was catching octopi for his daughter's graduation party.

Monday, May 10, 2010. Will and Heather came up to celebrate Cinco de Mayo this past weekend. We made cheese enchiladas, Spanish rice, and salsa for dinner (yum! Will and Heather found a pinata at a yard sale and brought that up. We busted that open and ate way too much chocolate. They stuffed it with the good stuff! Check out that powerhouse swing. Monday, January 9, 2012. I know this post is very late, but it's nice to see warm places in the middle of winter. That was my plan all along. These pictures aren't in any particular order and I don't feel like organizing them. ;) Enjoy. After 2 years, we made it back to visit Oahu in June/July. We got a great deal to fly out of Portland, so we invited some friends and then built up our excitement for 6 months. This is my cousin's baby at one month old. Hukilau Cafe for breakfast. Hike in Kahana Valley.

Sunday, December 2, 2012. This has been one of the prettiest falls I can remember in a long time. The nice weather and pretty leaves lasted forever! I did lots of fun fall activities. My mom came to visit for a couple days and we went to a pumpkin patch. They had melt-in-your-mouth apple cider donuts and pumpkin donuts. We were in heaven.
