The midnight sun welcomed us to Svalbard :) it is never completely dark here in Bodø now, but this was the first time we got to see the midnight sun and probably the only time we will see it quite like this. Either way, i have fewer pictures from this trip, and they will be supplemented by pictures blatantly and shamelessly stolen from my friends. Lets begin with a few facts, shall we? Just in case you would like to know exactly. I was, i put in a map below. It is from. We stayed in ...

A View From Nieszawska. There are places I remember all my life. Saturday, April 23, 2011. Then, Now, and Yogurts of Yore. Simply put: Fubright changed my life. It’s a straightforward statement, but the end result is anything but. For me, Fulbright was another era of “growing up;” it’s surreal to think it was already so long ago…. And Mexican food sans ketchup; I spent more time than I care to admit on the Dairy Queen. Sentence with “when I was in Poland…”). I keep the Polish mutter...On Wednesday, I too...

http://laceyingermany.blogspot.com/2010/01/unforseen-winter.html
Some Wine To-Go Please. Monday, January 11, 2010. My stay with Eileen and her family- Christa (mama), Harald (papa) and Isa (Isabel-sister)- has been very casual. I have my own room i.
