Jen and I got there at 9:30 and signed the last papers at 9:50. Incredible. Apparently they file the deed and release the money tomorrow morning, and we get the keys tomorrow night. We have taken a few days annual leave here and there, but mainly to do work on the house. We needed a holiday a proper break to recharge our batteries. We both love travelling and exploring new places, but there is one place in the world that we love to return to time and time again David’s family home in France.

Her er min beste Tiramisu-oppskrift. 2 ss Marsala hetvin. 12 stk Savoiardi fingerkjeks. 1 1/2 dl sterk, kald kaffe. Pisk sammen eggeplommer og sukker. I egge-sukkeret. Tilsett hetvinen i blandingen. Og bland de forsiktig i mascarpone-blandingen. Legg halvparten av kjeksene. I en flatbunnet form, og hell over halvparten av kaffen. Ha på halvparten av mascarpone-blandingen.
