Jessica, a Houston Runner. Saturday, February 23, 2008. Park to Park 5 Mile Race! Although I didn't run very much this week (eekk, I know, but moving stresses and packing have kind of taken over.), I felt like I ran a great 5 miler. This is the first time I have ever raced this distance, so it was a distance PR for me:). This was a fabulous course, flat, not too many turns.my right knee was a little sore at about 3 miles in.I think I might be due for a new pair of shoes? I'm gonna miss you guys and gals!

Jessica, a Houston Runner. Thursday, March 30, 2006. 3/29/06: 8x400m’s at the TrackI’M LOVIN’ IT! Tonight, my legs could sense the excitement of the track, I could tell, as silly as that sounds. I knew I was going to spank this workout into the ground after last week’s less-then-stellar hill performance. The plan was to run anywhere from 6 to 8-400m repeatsI of course, punished myself into 8. No less, I told myselfno less. Although I wasn’t sure of my goal time for this workout, I knew. 10:30 wu, 9:40 cd.
