Karen and Rob's Pre-Wedding Honeymoon Cycle Tour. Exploring low ghg travel modes part III. Sunday, November 28, 2010. The forecast was calling for more rain along the northern Baja coast. We decided that we wanted to get to the warmer and drier southern areas a bit quicker. So, after cycling for over 3,000 kilometers and across two borders we put our bikes on a bus. But hadn't expected to run into someone like this in a small Mexican village. Saturday, November 27, 2010. Highway 3 through Valle de Guadal...

http://robandkarencycle.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Karen and Rob's Pre-Wedding Honeymoon Cycle Tour. Exploring low ghg travel modes part III. Sunday, February 6, 2011. We have been back in Vancouver for almost four weeks. But we keep running into people who have been following our blog and think we are stuck somewhere in Baja limbo because we have failed to describe our trip home. So here it is. After dancing on the beach on New Year's eve we left the next morning for a 24 hour bus ride north. When we first boarded the train we both thought "this is civi...

Karen and Rob's Pre-Wedding Honeymoon Cycle Tour: January 2011
http://robandkarencycle.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Karen and Rob's Pre-Wedding Honeymoon Cycle Tour. Exploring low ghg travel modes part III. Wednesday, January 19, 2011. We were robbed on our trip. Once by raccoons at a campground in Oregon. And possibly a second time in California. In the second case the. Perpetrator claimed he thought the food we left in the animal-safe. Storage box was abandoned so I am not sure if that counts as a robbery. Karen bemoaned the lost country round loaf of bread, salmon cream cheese. Subsisting on Mr. Noodles alone.

http://robandkarencycle.blogspot.com/p/accident.html
Karen and Rob's Pre-Wedding Honeymoon Cycle Tour. Exploring low ghg travel modes part III. On Saturday October 2nd I was cycling south on Inverness Street ( a designated cycling route). I was riding a touring bike equipped with supplies and camping gear for a three month cycle touring trip. At approximately 1 PM I arrived at the 57th Ave intersection. Stopped at the stop sign and waited for an opening in traffic. Upon hearing me the driver initiated braking but did not have enough time to stop the vehicl...

How We Met
Searched for, dusted off, and published on the net by request. Enjoy! Starting at the Very Beginning. I was a rather silly 12 year old who introduced herself to a 17 year old at a school competition just because he played the piano. However, I didn't know he was 17! Just thought he was 14 or 15. He swears that I was skulking around the guys toilets, but I wasn't! That is where it would've ended but a bit of divine intervention occurred.and some more silly things on my part. Another era of the Matt and Ra...
