Early in the movie it had been revealed that she had written a Pulitzer Prize winning article titled. Why the World Doesn't Need Superman.". The world needs Christ! If it were not for Christ there would be no way to get to Heaven, and we would all be left without hope. Do you have the abundant life? Christ sa...

Daily Meditations: Blood is in the Plan
http://preacherspen.blogspot.com/2006/06/blood-is-in-plan_08.html
Thursday, June 08, 2006. Blood is in the Plan. Many Bible readers find Leviticus to be boring, full of old regulations that are meaningless to us and so detailed that reading them gives you a headache. Yet, Leviticus is one of the richest books in all of the Old Testament. Perhaps it, more than any other, shows us the price of redemption and the necessity of the redeemed walking after the God Who redeemed them. Rev 1:5; Acts 22:16). Benjamin R. Phillips. Daily Meditations: May 2006
http://preacherspen.blogspot.com/2006_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 31, 2006. The long summer days provide us time to get more done in the daylight. Remember now thy Creator in the days of they youth.". Redeeming the time, for the days are evil". For what is your life? It is even a vapor, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away". James 4:14). Many do not want to think about the brevity of life, but that will not avoid the truth. Life is short and we only have the time that we ahve. How are we going to spend it? Benjamin R. Phillips. Daily Meditations: May 2007
http://preacherspen.blogspot.com/2007_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 30, 2007. The book of Judges is a recorded history of the nation of Israel between the death of Joshua and the beginning of the ministry of Samuel. This time in Israel's history might very well be called the "Dark Ages of Israel" because unfaithfulness, idolatry, and wickedness characterized God's people. But it had not always been this way. Did the teaching simply not "take"? Did this new generation begin well and then fall away? What one can know is WHY the next generation did not remain...

Daily Meditations: Eliminated

Friday, June 09, 2006. Yet, Zarqawi’s death also reminds me of the need to carry out the Great Comission of Matthew 28:18-20. Islam is a brutal and Godless religion. Many claim that those like Zarqawi are the extremists, but in reality they are simply following the Quran’s teachings (for more information on the Quran's teachings concerning war see http:/ www.apologeticspress.org/articles/2702. Daily Meditations: Can You Imagine?
http://preacherspen.blogspot.com/2006/06/can-you-imagine.html
Thursday, June 15, 2006. What I am describing actually happened to one generation. In the early years of the earth the Bible says that "there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground" (Genesis 2:6). As far as we know from the Bible and scientific evidence the earth was once a tropical paradise in which hurricanes, thunderstorms, and other weather anomalies did not exist. There simply was no rain. Are you ready to meet your God? Benjamin R. Phillips. Benjamin R. Phillips.
