HOW TO JOIN BAND. You must be a current 5th grade student. The sixth grade is the ideal time to join band! Decide if BAND is right for you. The band program in Waxahachie is outstanding in every way and it's a great organization to be a member of. Talk it over with your family. It's okay if you're not completely sure what to play. Look around our website, email the directors if you have questions and talk to older kids you know in band. Select BAND as your #1 elective choice on your enrollment form.
