Friday, March 25, 2011. Spent dome time at one of the oldest temples in Chiang Mai. The Monks are very active in terms of their participation in the daily affairs of running the temple. No jungle hiking today, but the stair to get to this temple was like walking up to the sky. If you were not in shape, this stair climb would let you know it. This part of the largest temple in Chiang Mai. This temple was preparing for a group of Buddhist from Japan. The Monk gave me. These pictures are from a village farm.

Monday, March 28, 2011. Nam (new friend from Vietnam), Alena, and I have left the Grand Palace this morning. The palace is Grand to say the least. We are headed to the river to get to another destination by boat. We are now in a backstreet restaurant now ordering by site and not by knowledge of what the menu has to offer. So far the food has been delicious and cheap. You could do pretty good on $15-20 a day in Bangkok if you know what and where to go. Lunch finally arrives, it's very tasty, I don't know ...

Monday, March 21, 2011. The humidity is wicked here. As we ride with each other close together, the running joke, the stinkiest people must ride together in the back. The humidity makes you sweat your best efforts to be clean. The temperature is high 80's with the humidity just as high or higher. I have lots of pictures on my DSLR camera, so I will. Thursday, March 24, 2011. Chiang Mai Womens Prison. Just returned from the Chiang Mai Women's Prison for a massage. You first enter the prison, you must take your shoes off. A guard meets you and wants to know why you're here. We ask for the full Body massage. This was an incredible massage for 1.5 hrs for $6.00 that's right $6. Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone. Thursday, March 24, 2011. FYI: we just experienced an earth quake in Chiang Mai. We are Ok, the quake happened in Burma, but we felt it. It was 7.0 in Burma, but we felt it while eating outside. The whole outdoor restaurant felt it 156 miles away but we felt it. We are fine, just an unusual feeling to see and feel the whole place move. I will keep you updated if any news occurs. Glad it didn't happen while we were in the jungle earlier today. Location: Rattana Kosin Rd,Chang Moi,Thailand.

I had no luck, the phones were three times more expensive because they are sold without contracts, though I wasn't buying, plenty of people were in this five floor shopping Mega mall. This mall was a mecca of shopping, you name it they have it, and of course the flawless knock- offs that were created to perfection.
