I think this is really cool. I wish I hadn't come into it so close to the tattooing date. I really do love this idea and what it stands for, though. I am getting super-nervous (and excited) about my crane tattoo. My first step was to do the usual Google image search for crane images, which got the ideas flowing. Then I emailed my tattoo artist of choice. In Portland, Maine) to see if he had any openings on the 21st. Of course he didn't, which was disheartening. I'm nervous. First tattoo and all. Meep! I'm going to post the images I found next, because they really helped me narrow down my ideas, even though it's a totally random collection of cranes.

Has anyone found any decent pictures(or drawn any) of cranes that might work for tattoos? I've got one on a box of crane paper that might work, but the internet is slightly less helpful.
