December 31, 2014. Christmas in Sammamish - Cabin Snow Days. No trip to Washington would be complete without some time at the cabin. This Christmas we were able to spend four nights up in the mountains. Unfortunately there wasn't enough snow yet for skiing, but it was plenty for playing. I forgot to bring Sophie's snow boots so our trips out never lasted very long, but she always had fun. Snow is quickly becoming one of her favorite things! Going for a sled ride with daddy and Jobe. July 26, 2015. Emerald Isle 2015 - Part Two. Part of the family went on a trip to Cape Lookout, but it was going to be a long adventure so we decided a harbor cruise in Beaufort would be better for the little kids. Sophie was really excited to go on a boat. We saw lots of animals, including wild horses that live on the island, but even 40 minutes started to feel long to the little kids so Uncle Tim kept them busy with an exciting game of "Who can see a green boat? August 8, 2015. Hooray for the kindness of strangers! I looked for a place to pull over, but there is no shoulder throughout the construction zone so we had to keep going. There are a few emergency pull over spaces, but every one we passed already had a car in it (other victims? So I was just praying we could make it to the exit. We were able to exit and I pulled over on a side street to inspect the damage. Completely flat - no bueno. And I was more than happy to comply. What a way to start a weekend!

Sunday, November 30, 2014. My mom leaves tomorrow morning and life will go back to normal. The past week and a half has been so much fun. Steven's parents and my mom both came to visit, and Steven had quite a few days off work. Tomorrow, it is just me and the girls again! Some of the fun we had. Dave rode with Aubrey on her bike to preschool. Aubrey was so proud and excited to have her grandpa with her. Wednesday, January 7, 2015. Final Countdown to Baby. 37 weeks - Christmas Night. We had a great holiday season and were really sad to see it go.here are some pictures from some of our festivities. We also went on a Christmas light drive, watched lots of Christmas movies, had family parties, made Christmas cookies, sang with the ward choir and had a stake choirside and celebrated our Savior's birth. Monday, August 10, 2015. Last Tuesday we got to go to Lagoon for my father-in-law's work Lagoon day. I haven't been there for years and it was fun going back. We rode rides obviously, had dinner, and the boys played the game where you knock over milk cans to win Ashley a minion. I even ran into a friend from my ward that just moved a month ago up to Ogden!
