And Baby Makes Three. Saturday, April 2, 2011. ONE AND A HALF! The past few months have flown by! I love my days off with Lucas. We keep very active: parks, pool, playdates, exploring all the toddler-appropriate venues that SoCal has to offer. Lucas is saying over 50 words now. It seems he picks up a new word each day. He just recently started putting two words together i.e. "More apple". I love conducting little interviews with him each month and hearing how his pronunciations advance. Lucas at 16 months.

This isn't new for him, as he has always been a chatterbox, but it's so interesting for us to hear the new vowels and consonants he's using. Anyway, I'll let him tell you all about it. And Baby Makes Three. Wednesday, January 5, 2011. I haven't posted videos in awhile. Here are some favorites from November and December. One of Lucas' favorite things to do is turn anything into a phone and pretend to talk on it (a rattle, the remote, a tube of lotion, etc). This time he was using an actual phone and was pacing around the house and "talking", not aware that (#1) nobody was on the line and (#2) he had the phone turned the wrong way. But oh so cute. :). And Baby Makes Three. Sunday, April 25, 2010. We had such gorgeous weather this weekend! We made the most of it by heading to the beach on Saturday. I started working part-time, so Lucas and I have really taken advantage of our days together: joining several Mom's groups, playing at Gymboree, having swim dates and play dates with Lucas' little friends, etc. We even had a family trip to MN where Lucas got to hang out with my side of the family for a few weeks. And Baby Makes Three. Monday, November 30, 2009. Gearing up for Christmas. Christmas is almost here! We are so excited about our trip to MN - it'll be great to have a white Christmas this year. It just doesn't feel the same here in California this time of year, with the palm trees and hot weather. Lucas is almost 3 months old and will be taking his first plane ride with me in a few weeks! I'm nervous about being that lady on the airplane with the screaming baby. hopefully Lucas will take it easy on me.

Betsy, Josh, Juliet, Vincent and Axel. With love and gratitude we introduce Vincent Alan Howe! He was born yesterday (4.4.13! At 6:18pm after a quick labor and delivery in the water. Everyone is healthy and happy and he is pure sweetness with lots of dark hair. Josh and I are feeling very blessed as a family of four. Nearly a big sister.
