How fair the realm imagination opens to the view: The Battle of Surrender
http://howfairtherealm.blogspot.com/2012/06/battle-of-surrender.html
Saturday, June 23, 2012. The Battle of Surrender. I know the source yet I listen! How to surrender to the current of His will? How to surrender when others' lives look nothing like mine? How to stay focussed on Him? The surrender is not a letting go- but a striving against the weight of the other current that would pull me back to the battlefield. Yet the surrender is a releasing to the rhythms of grace that are foreign to me. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). My Stick Family from WiddlyTinks.com.

Thursday, January 12, 2012. Victory is Sweeter for the Struggle-I think. Spelling was a huge struggle for my eldest and we have a spelling program that we really like, but his attitude was one of defeat toward many areas of school. According to our spelling book, Spelling Power,. The conflicts we have over this! One plus is that this struggle, though still not completely resolved, has been helped tremendously by a sight my son loves called Khan Academy. I feel the spotlight of God's conviction so keenly ...

how faint a whisper | glimpses of God in a heaven-crammed earth
How faint a whisper. Glimpses of God in a heaven-crammed earth. November 7, 2016. Laudate omnes gentes, Laudate Dominum. Sing praises all ye people, sing praises to the Lord. We eat together because we need to be humbled, by kneeling side by side, to remember that we come to this table as equals. We eat together because we need to be strengthened by the faith of others in the days we do not glimpse the promise which our eating proclaims. Every vow we’ve broken and betrayed. You are the faithful One.

How Faint the Whisper. Poetry on God's Creation "And creation's wonders are but the outer fringe of God's works; how faint the whisper we hear of him! Tuesday, February 24, 2015. In a flash of light,. In a thunderous crash,. Against the rain's sharp lash;. His teeth a gleaming white,. A shade like bark. With flecks of night. A single drop of glittering blood. Upon his tongue,. And on his claws, the sliding mud. From valleys, thickened with the flood. What cave he came from,. No bird knows,. No eye can see.
