Oh, How Happy We Are

Wednesday, January 21, 2015. Project Life : Week 2. I am organizing my Project Life spreads Monday thru Sunday so that I can have the weekend in one weekly spread. As I mentioned in my first Project Life post, my goal this year with Project Life is to include more journaling. I only used a few embellishments this week but did include journaling for each day. Go me! Below is my title card for this week. The cool "Jan" is from a Studio Calico kit. Is a scrapbooking approach developed by Becky Higgins.

Oh, How Happy We Are: June 2012

http://www.howhappyweare.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html

Friday, June 29, 2012. No sew bunting project I ran right out to Joann's (husband's most favorite store) for supplies. Julie of. Has step by step directions on her blog. Love the summer feel of the gingham bunting we choose to use. The finished bunting is about three feet long and I have only used a fourth of the fabric I bought (half a yard of each color; about $15 worth of fabric). I am going to make another strand with thicker strips. Oh, How Happy We Are. Labels: arts and crafts. Oh, How Happy We Are.

Baby Burch for President! Coming soon to a gymboree near you…. The long and the short of it: Birth Story. October 25, 2010. I had my weekly doctor appointment on Monday the 18th, and was dilated to about 1.5 cm (up from 1 cm the week before). Everything was normal and fine, no signs of imminent labor. On Tuesday my sister came in to town for a visit and we had a dance party that afternoon. Later that night I lost my mucus plug. I had my bloody show the next day – Thursday at noonish. The pain got super b...

HowHappy

A journal of the happy things in my life. Friday, February 11. First Quilt, Finished. My sister in love is having a baby girl, shortly. I am so excited that my little girl will have a cousin so close in age, and wanted to do something really special for her. I offered to make a crib quilt, and she helped me design it. This was my first finished quilt and first attempt at freemotion machine quilting. I am very proud of the flowers that I created! Wednesday, July 29. Saturday, June 6. Tuesday, July 31.

How Happy Blog

Wednesday, May 20, 2009. Wow, it’s been a while since the last blog post. Over a month is probably too long, seeing how a lot of changes have happened to the How Happy. Site since then. So let’s go through them! The layout at the top of each item page is now a little different to accommodate a wider bar chart. This new bar chart is animated and you can hover your cursor over each bar to see the values. The area was also made wider to accommodate other new features that may go in that same space. If every...

How Hard Can It Be Blog

How Hard Can It Be Blog. Thursday, November 11, 2010. I Have A Great Idea. Sort of. After one or two more visits without finding that perfect lot on which to build our perfect cabin, Lori’s enthusiasm was beginning to wane. I couldn’t really blame her as she only had one day off per week, and she had spent about half of them with me looking for property. On one occasion, I noticed a listing for a thirty-acre lot in a place called Pearl Creek. Now as lots in Pearl Creek go, this was a bargain. Equally...

How Hard Can this Be? Matt Butler’s Blog about LiveCycle, Flex, and …. Adventures in code generation. We spent a lot of time working on the FlashBuilder and LiveCycle Workbench tooling around the modeling tool, but, as I talk to people about their development workflows it’s becoming more and more obvious that the traditional command line, ANT, and increasingly Maven workflows are just as important as the RAD workflows we focused on. But that’s certainly a needle in the haystack. You’ll have to unja...
