I will get a new bone scan on Monday that the oncologist will use a baseline. Things are moving very fast. I will leave you with the words for the first verse of the children’s song:. Howie's Health Team. Return of the Jedi 1/29/2016. Asymp; 2 Comments. I have been approved to receive an immune therapy called Provenge. This will involve three treatments each separated by two weeks. On February 9. They will return my own blood that will now be trained to attack my cancer. It is described as a personalized treatment. This treatment is so incredible that it reminded me of Luke Skywalker becoming a Jedi Warrior. I pray that it will be successful in defeating my own cancer Death Star.

Howie's Health Team. Howie’s status from Ellen. Asymp; 1 Comment. No blog this week from Howie. He has been very tired and having problems with pain and nausea. We have been working with the doctors office and have gotten a little better control of these issues. Even with that he has little energy and has no appetite. Tomorrow is his last provenge treatment. Yah! This treatment also comes with it’s side effects, like nausea. Please pray for minimal side effects and relief of bone pain. Larr; Previous post.

Howie's Health Team. Help, I have Termites as told by Howard Forstrom to Peter Moen – 9/8/2016. Asymp; 2 Comments. Howard had one more blog that he was working on. His issue was that he had three different stories but they were all about termites. Which story did he want to tell? He had scattered notes on all of them. In his last days, he told all three of them to me. Two were voice recorded but one was not. That one was my favorite and, on his birth date, I put it down in writing. Asymp; 1 Comment.
