Making Our Forever Home. Tuesday, June 30, 2015. Sunday, June 28, 2015. We then came home to Justin smoking some meat on his new BBQ smoker- -name is still being decided on and went straight inside to put on our swimsuits and to unpack a little and headed to the pool where we spent the next few hours. The boys took turns jumping in, diving down for dive sticks, and splashing each other- -the laughter was good to hear. One look at these boys and all I could think about was how joyful they were. Pure j...

http://www.keepingupwiththesouths.com/2015/08/baseball-camp-2015.html
Making Our Forever Home. Monday, July 27, 2015. This year we decided to sign both boys up for baseball. This would be Logan's first attempt at an organized sports outside of gymnastics. and since we didn't want to be at the ball field Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for 8 weeks, we signed both boys up for T-ball- Kaden was old enough to do coach pitch but the days just didn't work out. But first everyone had to stretch and get warmed up. Coaches and parents too. The coaches do their best to try a...

Keeping Up With The Souths: Make that TWO.
http://www.keepingupwiththesouths.com/2015/07/make-that-two.html
Making Our Forever Home. Saturday, July 11, 2015. Why does this matter, you may ask? Well, Kaden's tooth that was somewhat loose, was really loose now. So loose that you could see the back of the tooth when you wiggled it forward but not loose enough to be able to wiggle it backwards and for it to pop out. Justin and I had to go as far as cutting his food up like a little baby so that he could actually eat because each time he tried taking a bite, he complained his tooth hurt! Mommy, Kaden and Logan.

Making Our Forever Home. Making Our Forever Home. Well, we did it. We sold our current home. And bought our "forever home". Or at least our home until we can't walk up and down stairs anymore. So what does this house look like and what do we have. To do once we move in. The house has 4 of the bedrooms upstairs and the boys even have a nice jack and jack. Bathroom connecting their rooms. Nothing special on the size of their rooms but they will have plenty of room to still house all their things when t...

Keeping Up With The Souths: Early Morning Runs
http://www.keepingupwiththesouths.com/2015/07/early-morning-runs.html
Making Our Forever Home. Friday, July 24, 2015. I am the type of person that likes to put her goals out for the whole world to see. I guess, I like accountability and when I put it out there, I feel everyone is keeping me accountable. Or maybe someone is. I am happy to say that this hasn't changed. I am still eating healthy and still feeling great- -it's amazing how thinking about all that fried food just makes my stomach hurt. It's not worth it- -in more ways than one too. Totally jump to week two. ...

Keeping Up With The Souths: Drive-in Movie Night
http://www.keepingupwiththesouths.com/2015/07/drive-in-movie-night.html
Making Our Forever Home. Sunday, July 12, 2015. For about a month now we have been wanting to take the boys to see Inside Out but the timing just wasn't working out. We threw out the idea of trying to catch it at the drive in one weekend but our weekends filled up or the weather just wasn't cooperating. We took a picture in front of the Boulevard sign- -with a selfie stick. The boys played on the hill. They played football in the isle in front of us. They did bubbles. Then Grammy said she would t...SUREL...

Keeping Up With The Souths: The Longest Week
http://www.keepingupwiththesouths.com/2015/07/the-longest-week.html
Making Our Forever Home. Friday, July 17, 2015. The timing worked out perfectly. I had a week in town with no travel and we were already planning on heading down to my mom and dad's for Madison's third birthday celebration the following weekend so there weren't really any extra trips down 49 that would be needed. While Justin played golf, I drove and met my parents at the halfway point- Butler. I got to work, worked my way through some emails and then texted my mom. "Can you FaceTime? Nope- visiting cous...

Keeping Up With The Souths: Miss Maddie Turns Three
http://www.keepingupwiththesouths.com/2015/07/miss-maddie-turns-three.html
Making Our Forever Home. Sunday, July 19, 2015. Miss Maddie Turns Three. She knows her princesses like her aunt knows Sugar Ray songs. We got back to my mom and dad's and the kids took off right where they left, playing. Kaden, Logan and Maddie play so well with each other and love being with one another. So much so that when it came time to leave, she wasn't having it. Grandma Sara and Papa Tom knew how to make it all better, a piece of chocolate does the trick. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
