Wednesday, July 2, 2008. All by myself.I don't wanna be". I am a big fan of people, and I think I'm known for being a people person (though I'm shy at first). I think there's something really great about not going through life alone! I firmly believe that it's not so much where you are but who your with, and that victories are so much more sweeter when there's somone to share them with. Life would be so much less without my family and friends! Sothank you for anyone who have ever spent time with me!

Thursday, June 26, 2008. A doga very sad dog! The most impactful aspect of my trip was the time I spent in La Chureca. It was the closest thing I have ever seen to hell. There was dirt, trash, lots and lots of trash, heat, fire, .and people as valuable as you and I are, living in conditions I don't think anyone should have to live in! I wasn't that hungry so I only ordered two of the beer battered fish tacos and I'm glad I did- the corn tortillas are less than 4 inches in diameter (which would be fine but they were 3.50 each)! We did everything up to the grinding for the sausage before one of the teams managed to break both of our working grinders. Oh, and this was only after every other g...Haha,...

Friday, July 18, 2008. What do YOU think? I just read these verses in Psalm 101:. Whoever secretly slanders his neigbor, him I will DESTROY.he who tells lies shall NOT continue in my presence.". My response: "Ouch, that was harsh! This wonderful, kind all loving, gracious forgiving, compassionate God will destroy me If I say somethin that's not nice? If I throw at a few lies here and there for whatever reason I can not continue in his prescence? Where does this fit into your theology? What do YOU think?

While I didn't mind the smallness of the restaurant, the food was good- just missing the target on a few important points (temperature, sauce). Also, that night and the next day my stomach was not too happy with me, but that's mostly my fault.
