Wednesday, September 14, 2011. We attempted to change the brakes. Lucky us one of the screws to remove the caliper was stuck. My dad wore down the screw intending to replace it. So my question is, how do i remove a caliper with a frozen screw to replace it? You will have to heat it up to loosen the bolt and use WD-40 before you heat it up, you should be able to get some large vice grips on the bolt if you have it rounded off.Caliper screw stuck? Soak it with some pe net. Change brake pads and rotors.

I have barely had my car for one year, and have replaced brake pads, rotors, left ball joint, given it. Anyway, I've paid a ridiculous amount of money to fix this car up. Monday, September 19, 2011. I just changed the front disc brake pads and rotors on my 2000 corolla and the mechanic said the rear dru ms. Still have 45% left on them so i didn't have the rear changed. I'm not exactly sure if this problem was present before the brake change or not but i noticed that my brake is really spongy and i have to press it. So im wondering whether i should take it to toyota instead and ask them to bleed the line and change the brake fluid or just to ask them to inspect the brakes?

I've changed my pcv valve, air filter, timing belt, and spark plugs/wires so far. What could it be? I will be flushing my coolant(irrelevant) and replacing my fuel filter soon. Will that help, or is it my motor mounts? Also my check engine light is on and I have to change both o2 sensors. How much is it to change the motor mount? I have a rough idle!
