Planning for Paris Stripes and Statements. Thursday, August 1, 2013. Is it cliché to wear stripes in Paris? Possibly. Do I care? Perhaps there is a good reason that something becomes a cliché. I also collect a lot of really beautiful statement necklaces (and bracelets, and earrings, but that’s another story for another time). I love the look of a crisp striped shirt and a hunky, chunky, funky necklace together. It dresses up jeans and sandals and, in my opinion, anyway, looks. Tell me in the comments!
