Teaching My Kids and Learning As I Go: January 2010
http://howwilltheyknow.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Teaching My Kids and Learning As I Go. How will they know unless we teach them so? Saturday, January 30, 2010. You want me to have 4 babies in my tummy? No, six," he corrected. Six babies in my tummy? I hear stories of young kids saying things to their parents about future children that they end up being spot on about. That worries me a little when he talks like this. I gave him the easy, safe answer. "When a Mommy and a Daddy love each other very much, they make a baby.". But how do they make a baby?

Teaching My Kids and Learning As I Go. How will they know unless we teach them so? Monday, August 31, 2009. I know that cupcakes. Once or maybe twice a month. The kids can help decorate and we can share our goodies with friends and family in order to avoid the whole blowing up part. I couldn't sleep ton. Ight (hence the late night post), so I skimmed through Betty Crocker's cupcake ideas. I found some really cute ones. These ones are my favorite. They're called Surprise Cupcake Cones. A Few Good Reads.

Teaching My Kids and Learning As I Go. How will they know unless we teach them so? Sunday, May 30, 2010. A New Memorial Day Tradition. Noah could have stayed there much longer than we did, but Clara was ready to go. Tonight I've been thinking that maybe this needs to be a tradition. It doesn't matter if we don't know any of the people buried in the cemetery. They are still our brothers and sisters, and it's important to show our respect for the lives they lived. I thought maybe next year we could actuall...

Teaching My Kids and Learning As I Go. How will they know unless we teach them so? Friday, July 31, 2009. Lemon Poppy Seed Slices. Bradley and I finally did another cookie day. We have made a couple of different cookies, but didn't stop to take photos. We made Ginger Snaps and White Chocolate Cashew Craisin Cookies for our trip to Oregon. They were delicious! But Bradley has wanted to try the lemon poppy seed cookies for a long time, so we made them yesterday. Here is the recipe:. 1/4 cup poppy seeds.

Tiny Blessings: November 2010
http://tinyblessing.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 15, 2010. Little Katie Lynn was born Tuesday, November 9th at about 3:30 pm. She weighed 5 pounds 11 ounces and is 18" long. I think what surprised me most was her fuzzy dark brown hair. I wasn't expecting that, and it was a very happy surprise. She has a sweet and very calm temperament. She hardly makes a fuss, and loves to cuddle. I walked a bit more on Wednesday and was able to get in and out of the bed with more ease than I have with my other 2. It was a very happy ending! This is he...

Saturday, December 10, 2011. There is clearly some learning that needs to happen here. These photos were taken on Wayne's phone and I thought they'd show up big like all my others, so I have done something wrong somewhere. Anyway, these photos are in Kanab. Canyon. We were down there for a retreat with Wayne's work. We actually stayed at Zion's Ponderosa. So we headed that direction. It was a beautiful drive! Canyon we came to a pet cemetery. Can you see all those stones? It snowed the morning we left, j...

Wednesday, December 7, 2011. We had our family photo shoot this month. Jody did a great job, as always! I love how they turned out, especially the kids! Can you see why she can sweet talk her dad so well? He is such a pushover for those eyes. This is the best picture Bradley has had for a long time. He has been stuck in the "I can't remember how to smile" phase for way too long. But this one worked, what a handsome boy he is growing up to be. Thanks again Jody, they turned out great!
Tiny Blessings: December...so far
http://tinyblessing.blogspot.com/2011/12/decemberso-far.html
Saturday, December 10, 2011. My cute girls helped me decorate a sparkly pink Christmas tree in their bedroom. Katie loves the lights and makes the cutest little contented sigh every time we plug the tree in. Elli loves, loves, LOVES, her pink tree! She had just figured out how to climb onto Elli's bed all by herself. You can see the pride all over her face. She is a sweetie! Elli had her first hair cut, and it turned out adorable! I was nervous about it, but I love it! More December to come soon.

Monday, December 5, 2011. The Christmas that I almost forgot. It is no secret that I have had a very bad blogging year. I want to amend that right now by catching up on all wonderful moments I've missed sharing. Above is our precious little Christmas bundle. Katie has been such a joy! Bradley and Elli in their Christmas outfits for church. I had fun making up a pattern for Elli's skirt below. Luckily I made it big enough that it still fits her this year. Christmas morning. We started with our traditi...
Tiny Blessings: March
http://tinyblessing.blogspot.com/2011/12/march.html
Wednesday, December 7, 2011. We had a stretch of unseasonably warm weather in March. Elli loved being able to get out and wear her new flip flops, as she called them. I loved watching the flowers come up. Sadly the warm weather was short lived and we had a huge snow storm a week or so after we took these pictures. Then it stayed cold up until the 4th of July. Tiny Blessings: December 2010
http://tinyblessing.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 13, 2010. It's not as easy to get things done around here as it used to be, but we are thrilled with the reason why. I usually decorate a lot more for the holidays, but alas, a baby makes everything like that a touch harder. We certainly don't mind though. Katie is the sweetest and best reason for not being as productive as I used to be. I made these ornaments for our first Christmas. I picked up the pre. The glitter pine cones in the basket were made last year with my mom and sisters...

Sunday, September 19, 2010. This and that.it's catch up time again! Bradley was really excited to go back to school this year. He has a great teacher too, she loves science just like Bradley, and she even loves reptiles just like him. I think it's going to be a fun year! Okay, so last spring I blogged about all the cute skirts and things I wanted to make for Elli. I had said that I would put pictures on here of the things I did, well, I'm finally getting around to it. For the 4 th. Of July I thought it w...
Tiny Blessings: October

Wednesday, December 7, 2011. Bradley had his birthday this month. It's hard to believe that he is really 11 years old. He is officially taller than me now. I am 5' 2", and I think Bradley is almost 5' 3". I knew it would happen, but I didn't really expect it to happen before he became a teenager. How Will They Hear
How Will They Hear. My Father Knows What I Need (Matthew 6:8). March 28, 2012. A few days ago we were again reminded of how God always takes care of his children. Many of you know that Cindy is 5 months pregnant with our 3. Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? For t...
