A Blog about retrocumputing projects, old computers and electronic gadgets. Sunday, July 4, 2010. Project pages and new Blogs. Over the past few years I've published several pages about some of my experiences trying to put together different projects related to electronics, particularly using microcontrolles and one of my hobbies: retrocomputing. So then, I decided to upgrade myself to Web 2.0 . Electronics Projects, Reviews and Gossip. The "official" LJCV Electronics. I hope you find the new format and ...

Image filenames should only have a single dot in them - otherwise they are not recognised,...

Neil's Tech Docs: Fun with OpenSuse, VMWare and Firefox
http://neilstechdocs.blogspot.com/2013/09/fun-with-opensuse-vmware-and-firefox.html
Food, technology and libraries.not necessarily in that order. Monday, 9 September 2013. Fun with OpenSuse, VMWare and Firefox. Just rebuilt one of my VMWare workstation machines: AMD FX 8120, 16GB RAM, dual SSD boot drives etc. with OpenSuse 12.2. I always lag an OS version with VMWare as Workstation host OS support takes a little while to "bed in", in my expereince. Looking at top shows that VM's, Firefox, kwin. Into Google, however, was a bit of a revelation. Lots of reports of CPU stalls, 100% uti...
