Der in der Entwicklung befindliche Preselektor ist nur für den Empfangszweig vorgesehen. Die Filter haben die Charakteristik von Bandpassfiltern, die frequenzabhängig umgeschaltet werden. Der Preselektor ist als Einsteckkarte in den Atlas-Bus vorgesehen. Hier einige Beispiele für berechnete Filterkurven:. Software ist fertig und getestet. Hardware: das erste Layout hat noch zuviel parasitäre Kapazitäten, die die Filterkurven verfälschen. Ein Redesign ist in Arbeit.

Die Programmierung der Baugruppen kann auf unterschiedliche Arten vorgenommen werden:. 1 Mit einem Programmieradapter, der auf den Anschluss AS ( a. Erial programming) auf Mercury-EU oder Penelope aufgesteckt und mit einem Druckerkabel mit dem Parallelport des PC verbunden wird. Auf Mercury-EU ist dies J7,. Auf Mercury (TAPR) J4. Und auf Penelope P2. Als Software zum Programmieren wird der Programmer von Altera verwendet. Weitere Details sind im Manual zum Programmieradapter nachzulesen.

Wozu wird der Antennenumschalter benötigt:. Um sowohl die Antennenbuchse auf Mercury als auch die Antennenbuchse auf Penelope wechselweise bei Senden und Empfangsbetrieb auf die Antenne oder auf eine nachfolgende PA schalten zu können, wird ein Umschalter benötigt. Ein 2-pol. Kabel verbindet den Antennenumschalter mit 12V und GND z.B. auf Atlas. Optional kann ein 6m-Vorverstärker auf den Antennenumschalter bestückt werden. Weitergehende Informationen zum Antenneumschalter sind im Manual.

100W Verstärker von 160m bis 6m. Zur Verstärkung des Penelope-Signals von max. 500 mW auf 100 W wurde eine PA entwickelt, die von 160m bis einschließlich 6m auf allen Amateurbändern verwendet werden kann. Abgebildet ist hier Rev.1 fertig betsückt und getestet. Auf dem Display werden angezeigt: Stromaufnahme I/A, P FWD und PREV in W, SWR, Temperatur. Die Limit-werte für T, SWR, I können mit 3 Tasten eingestellt werden. Die detalliertere Beschreibung der PA ist hier. Die gemessenen Werte: 160m.

Atlas ist ein Baugruppenträger zur Aufnahme von Einsteckkarten des HPSDR-Systems. Atlas versorgt die Baugruppen mit Spannungen und mit wichtigen Signalen, die auf mehreren Baugruppen benötigt werden, z.B. Taktsignale, digitale Audiodaten usw.
