Thursday, June 7, 2012. Day 7 June 6 Yosemite. Just a shot of the snow in the mountains as we entered the park. Half dome is in the background. Tunnel on the way to Yosemite Valley. This is so beautiful! Beside a lake in the Park.gorgeous day! Sequoia Grove inside Yosemite. Trying to show the real size of these trees.can't wait to see the giant redwoods. He couldn't get the top of the tree in one shot. Just to show the snow still on the ground, it was cold and we had everything on that we could!

Saturday, June 16, 2012. June 16 Big Horn Mountains. Parked outside our hotel in Cooke City. There is a bull elk in this photo, if you blow it up large, you can see his horns. We have seen snow just about everywhere we have gone on this trip. June 15 Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. Entering the Grand Teton National Park. Jenny Lake.you can't take a bad picture here! First waterfall we saw in Yellowstone. 2nd waterfall in Yellowstone. 3rd waterfall in Yellowstone. It turned out to be a great day anyway.

Thursday, June 7, 2012. Day 8 June 7. No photos today. We are in Redding CA.We stopped early to get caught up with laundry etc. We walked to Marie Callenders for dinner tonight and it was excellent! We are planning to go to the Redwood National Park tomorrow and to ride some of highway 101. Maybe I can post pics tomorrow night. The weather has been great. Sunday, August 21, 2011. We only rode about 100 miles today and all of it in heavy cold rain.sounds like fun doesn't it? Well it wasn't so we got a room in Mackinaw City. We can see the bridge from our room. I think this looks like it could be a neat town and we would go check it out if the sun was shining! Bob is napping.exactly what we should be doing on vacation! Hope the sun is shining tomorrow. This was our little cabin.it looked nicer than it was. These are people climbing back up this sand dune!

Tuesday, June 5, 2012. Day 6 June 5, 2012. Today we went through Death Valley. It was awesome and not what I expected at ALL. After we got through the Valley, we went up California highway 395 between 2 mountain ranges, once again awesome! The weather is great, we even had to wear jackets through Death Valley! So far we have traveled 2200 miles. You have to watch out for bandits out here! This is Bob in desert gear). I was amazed at the different landscapes of Death Valley. June 16 Big Horn Mountains.

Sunday, October 19, 2014. 2 pounds ground beef browned with onions. 1 large onion, chopped. 2 cans black beans. 2cans corn ,drained. 2cans Rotel tomatoes (or tomatoes with green chile peppers). 1 pkg taco seasoning mix. 1 pkg original hidden valley ranch dressing (dry). 1 jug/can tomao juice. After browning and draining the ground beef.just put all ingredients on the stovetop or crockpot and heat. The longer it cooks, the better it is. So, I like to put it in the crockpot on low all day while I work.

Friday, November 22, 2013. Gaga's Date Nut Cake. 1 lb english walnuts in shell or 2 cups meat. 2 tsp baking powder. Beat eggs, add sugar, beat again add vanilla. Then add sifted dry ingredients add nuts and dates rolled with part of flour. Bake about 1 hour 20 minutes at 250 degrees. Never any hotter than 250. My new stove took 1 1/2 hours.
