Over 50 of her friends attended including her two sisters and their husbands, Aunts Cathy and Betty and Uncles Frank and Tony. Sunday, October 9, 2011. Henry recently visited Colorado Springs and took the Manitou and Pike's Peak Railway to the summit - 14,110 feet. The trip up took 1 hour and 10 minutes and the views were spectacular. Along the way we saw deer, big horn sheep, and yellow-bellied marmots. The Weekend of October 18 to 20 was the Belknap College Alumni Reunion. Commemorating the 50th anniversary of the the college's founding. Third Annual Nativity Pet Blessing. Thanks to Sam, it's now a tradition at Nativity Church to have a blessing of the pets in October. The weather was nice, but a little hot. Over 30 dogs, cats, a bird, and other mammals with their human companions attended. Father Ralph provided the blessing and each pet was personally anointed with Holy Water. Both humans and the dogs were well behaved and each was blessed for the richness they bring into our lives. Click on PET BLESSING. To view the photos.
