Daughter of Smoke and Bone. 160;by Laini Taylor is one of the summer reading picks for Book Club. It came recommended by a few students. I now see why. . Honestly, I finished this book on Friday night, went out on Saturday and got the second and third in the trilogy and am now about 1/4 of the way through the sequel: Days of Blood and Starlight.
