台灣鄉村社區因為人口外流及老化，多數的鄉村教會受到衝擊。鄉村宣教變成一個非常沉重的課題。如何活化鄉村的教會？也跟鄉村宣教的果效也直接的關係. 基於彰化縣長翁金珠女士對縣內中輟學生的關懷，再因縣府教育局的努力策劃及籌設。2002年彰化縣政府教育局正式籌設「彰化少年學園」與「向日葵學園」，分別關懷及幫助北彰化與南彰化地區的中輟學生。向日葵學園於2003年2月開始協尋中輟學生，同年3月17日正式開始上課。 1 彰化縣偏遠的濱海地區，居民大都從事漁業養殖及農業耕作，就業機會少，有許多家庭父母為持家庭生計而外出工作，將子女留給祖父母看顧，因文化刺激少、缺乏親子教育知識，無法照顧少年身、心、靈需要，而產生許多隔代教養的問題。 3 根據戶政資料統計，目前彰化縣有6000多名外籍新娘，有一部份外籍媽媽教養下長大的孩子，在學習過程遇到困難導致中輟。向日葵學園經一年的輔導追蹤，發現學園中有29%的學員來自外籍新娘家庭，本學園的復學方案及輔導，可以給予非常實際的幫助。 2 養成他們規律的生活,正確的價值觀,和積極正向的行為。 5 幫助他們重返學校，或做好就業(升學)準備,使他們回歸主流. 12302;二林鄉村宣教工作室...
