Wednesday, January 12, 2011. Looking for inspiration, my own Julia Project. The first week, I decided to make enchiladas. And found a recipe that seemed close to the dish another mom at M's co-op made for parent snack. Didn't turn out nearly as yummy as her dish, but it was not half bad and it was my first time ever making enchiladas. Didi ate some of the chicken inside, M did not touch it. This week, I decided I was going to use turnips in something since I have never made anything with white turnips.

Sunday, April 20, 2008. After weeks of saying, "Mia happy birthday coming", Mia finally got to have her party on April 19th. It's hard to believe that our little girl is a fast talkin' little person. I wish I could have made it to church because Mia and the rest of the kids performed some songs from VBS (Vacation Bible School, an annual week long Bible camp that many churches put on) and Papa was really moved and proud of our little girl. Saturday, April 17, 2010. This is a special post for Skylar Kil, her teacher Andrew and her First Grade Class at the Bertschi School in Seattle! A side note for those of you who do not live in earthquake zones, it is not a good idea to hang anything over your bed just in case it falls down and causes flattening. Here in California where earthquakes are common, we don't hang anything over beds. Flat Stanley and Mia in front of her cubby at school. Little David, just does not know his strength sometimes.

Saturday, August 16, 2008. We went for a short morning hike, more to play in the creek on a super hot day. Kids had fun, I spent some time cleaning after the poo poos, both kids had to go in the outdoors. sigh. The rushing creek was very good for washing out the swim diaper! I am a keen Design student at Loughborough University. I have started training in Photoshop, Illustrator, Solidworks and Keyshot. I am interested in the psychology of consumerism, and aim to design beautiful, useful products with the customer in mind. In my spare time I enjoy woodturning and play guitar and trumpet.
