Miriam turned 11 this month (wowsers) and she enjoys books at grade level and significantly higher. Viking Quest books, including Raiders from the Sea,. Black Fox of Lorne.

I know, I know- you should never hate libraries, but the policies are so punitive and make it so costly to use the library that I find my blood pressure rise every time I have to interact in any way with the library system. Oh, Davis County Library System, I miss you so! First- Davis lets you renew books after they are overdue, Weber does not. Davis doesn't make you have a pin number.

Complete Units Available for Purchase. May 30, 2014. We had a fun day yesterday (and today- we went swimming for the first time this summer and I think even Oskar had a good time). We read: The King's Fool: A Book about Medieval and Renaissance Fools. It is a pretty fun book. The kids love the topic and the author included lots of great info about real historical fools. I had to explain some of the "wit" to them. :). Then we watched one of my favorite old-timey movies: The Court Jester. May 29, 2014.
