Upcycle Park – Kai Tak River. Civic Public, Urban Planning, Hong Kong. Upcycle Park is an urban oasis that is contextual, functional, and entertaining. The park will recycle parts from old airplane and create ecology for various native species. It will be a futurist park that reminds us of the history of Kai Tak Airport. The master plan is inspired by Kai Tak Airport. Section of the River. The canal at night will remind people of the old airport runway, while creating a new night life like Cheonggyecheon.

Dancing Map - Avoid Obvious Architects

We were commissioned by Indiewalls. To create a 30′ wide drawing for the Renaissance Hotel. In Chicago. The theme of the hotel is related to urban living in Chicago and their elevated train. Known as the “L” system. The hotel will also introduce a play that use different part of the hotel as their stage. To combine Chicago’s train and dancing together, we created Dancing Map. It is a informational map that dances in 3d and its movement is captured by stop motion. Check out our Waving Map and Golden Maze.
