Monday 12 December 2016. We have been very busy with Action Stations and Christmas workshops. It was very funny on Thursday when I put the timetable up and the children were very concerned that there was no writing! We had too many Christmas preparations to fit it in. This week most days they will be bringing home books and art work. On Monday at 2.15 it is our swimming time. We are just going to enjoy the pool! Our road safety writing after Constable Dave came in to talk to us about crossing the road safely. 1st - 5th August. Week 1- Term 3. We wrote about cakes as one of our writing days we choose a random picture that is in our "picture bag", and the whole class has to write something about that picture. Thursday, February 18, 2016. 2nd May - 6th May 2016. Term 2, week 1. This week we learnt our j, p, and v sound. We recapped our Huapai School Values and made posters with a buddy. We discussed some goals for Term 2 in regards to how we can show our manners! We have been practising writing our learnt words. Maeve and Charlotte are drawing ways to be responsible (the Huapai Tui), and how we can show respect (the Huapai kiwi). We made Mother's day cards which we hope you all love! 11th - 15th April 2016.

Team 11 - 2016. Sunday, 12 June 2016. Last Friday was a miserable wet and windy day. We enjoyed being able to spend some time with the new entrants from Room 18. We began some MATARIKI art work together, took photos, got to know our little brothers and sisters better and were all winners on the day! Thank you Mrs O for letting us hang with your babies.
