Hubbs Creek is located on a 500 million-year-old geological formation known as the Lindsay formation from the middle Ordovician period. The soil is stoney. Prince Edward County, just like Burgundy France, is considered a Cool Climate Growing Region but unlike Burgundy, our winters are more severe. Hubbs Creek Vineyard is a family run vineyard. We are located in Prince Edward County, Ontario, Canada. Prince Edward County is located at the northeastern part of Lake Ontario bisected by the 44-degree north parallel. The vineyard itself is situated in the township of Hillier near the town of Wellington, approximately two kilometers north of Lake Ontario.

In 2009, we began selling our Pinot Noir through the Hinterland Wine Company,. A winery in Prince Edward County. Our 2009 Pinot Noir was recently described by David O’Conner.
