Monday, July 21, 2008. Last year, Amber and I decided that we would like to start having annual twin vacations! What a wonderful idea! This year, we decided to get a cheap hotel in Austin and shop! We laughed and went back and bought it. After so much shopping, we were getting tired and cranky, so we headed back to the hotel and took a long nap. Yes! I never get a nap! Our hotel was CHEAP! Tuesday, October 7, 2008. Rachel singing with a jelly sandwich! I have learned how to use the video feature on my camera! On the way home, Rachel started singing at the top of her lungs to my praise music CD. It was so hilarious. She can sing the whole chorus by herself! When I got home, I rushed in to get my camera. Thursday, October 9, 2008. A couple of days ago, I assembled Rachel's toddler been that has been sitting in the garage. She "helped" me put it together and was so proud to show Daddy when he got home. It is a bit of a struggle to put her to sleep now that she can get out! She is getting the hang of it though. Sunday, August 10, 2008. I have gone completely insane and have decided to run a 1/2 marathon! The race is called the San Antonio Rock 'n' Roll Marathon and it will be November 16th. I will be training 6 days a week for the next 14 weeks. What am I thinking! I will be running with about 6 of my friends from church. I am scared of failing and scared that I will loose my drive, but I am ready to be back in shape, healthy, and strong. I will keep you updated on my progress. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Tuesday, October 28, 2008. Sunday, Aaron and I decided to take Rachel to the pumpkin patch. We had a great time watching her roam free among all the unique pumpkins. When Aaron asked her what they were, she very excitedly said, "APPLES"! Aww That was cute! The pumpkin patch looks like it would be a lot of fun for everyone. Rachel is adorable. It took us awhile to convince her that she would love the uniform.but now she gets so excited to wear it! Brynn started Kindergarten at Early Primary. Justin, Mary Beth, Brynn, and Sadie. Tuesday, November 24, 2009. I have finally made it home from my month in Colorado! It was the hardest thing I have ever done, but I would do it again in a heartbeat. I missed my family terribly but learned so much about myself while I was there. The first week I was there, we got hit with 17 inches of snow. It was crazy! People still camped out for the opening and some even built a little igloo to stay in! With all of these amazing people! Or stopping for these.

Justin, Mary Beth, Brynn, and Sadie. Wednesday, October 28, 2009. I am in Colorado now working at the Grand Opening and we got TONS of snow today, something I am very unfamiliar with in Texas! At Chick-fil-A Grand Openings, people camp out because the first 100 get free CFA for a year. I thought this wouldn't happen with the weather being so awful, but NOOOOOO there are a lot of crazy people camping out! Some of the campers decided to build an igloo for fun. Others just stayed in their tents to keep warm.

I am excited, nervous, sad, and anxious all wrapped into one. The girls and I made their chain so they can tear one off each night I am gone. 30 sleeps here I come (then I am home two days and gone another five days but we aren't talking about that yet). Thursday, October 30, 2008. Then when that disappointed me, I started focusing on what I could make my body do. I am amazed that I can run 4 miles 3 times a week and consider them short runs! I never thought I would be able to run 13 miles, but I am now confident that I can do it.
