My time spent living in Hefei, China. Wednesday, July 23, 2008. My camera is crapping out. 'Crapping' not sure i will teach that one to the students, I'm not sure it is even a real word, that is officially. Anyway, of the 6 shots of the biggest street in Hefei, this is the only one my camera felt capable of hanging on to. If you go to http:/ en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hefei. Oh now I remember. The definition of irony:. Watching a Chinese knockoff copy of a movie, and they included the 5 minute 'don't steal movies' clip at the begining. Just wanted to mention that. My time spent living in Hefei, China. Thursday, September 18, 2008. Going to a Wedding. This past Monday, the 15th I believe, I attended a Chinese wedding. I was on the brides side as it were. Her name is Helen, she is one of the Chinese staff at EF where I work. It is hard to see in this photo, but there is a real production put into dressing the bride. She really looked spectacular. If nothing else I will have to take a trip home and fill up on pizza and English. Actually that is something, you know how Chinese students always study hard for hours on end and have good marks? They go to bed, they may study at this point too, I am not clear on the details. I don't think a Western. Our standards in public schools. In North America, you here a lot of criticism.
