Monday, December 1, 2008. Here are the pictures from our trip. Now that we have been back for a few months, it truly seems like a dream. I personally have never been to a place more beautiful. It was amazing as you will see. It almost feels like you have stepped back in time. Our pictures do not equal how truly beautiful it was. We hope you enjoy! This picture was taken from the tower which was the oldest part of the castle. It is quite the lookout spot. This is the house we stayed in while in Aberdeen.

Tuesday, December 16, 2008. We had a busy weekend! We took the kids to see Santa,. Wich is always lots of fun! There was no one in line, so we didn't have to wait! Saturday, Samantha and Shane both had there last basketball game. Samantha had her end of season party after her game where she got her trophy. Shane's coach delivered his trophy later because the trophys weren't done in time. Samantha had a cheer clinic. On Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday after school, and then she got to perform half-time.

Wednesday, January 7, 2009. At midnight the kids went outside and threw a bunch of confetti everywhere, and blew there party horns. Our neighbors were lighting fireworks, so the kids got to watch those too! It was a fun night! Alyssa in her party hat (no one told her she had oreo cookie all over her face). She didn't go outside with the others, she said the fireworks were to scary! She just watched out the window. The Hughes clan all together. The grandkids together (except baby Nathan). 3,2,1, blastoff!
