Save my findings in case I forget. AH, of course for an old guy like me. Friday, May 13, 2011. Toshiba laptop is not a good choice. Today I got a chance to troubleshoot a brand new Toshiba Qosmio laptop. The model is F60. I would say, this is definitely not a good choice. It looks flashy and has all the bells ans whistles, but it has soft and flimsy plastic everywhere. Screen glares if I was looking into a mirror all time. Eventually Windows 7 helped me. This is how:. Save my findings in case I forget. AH, of course for an old guy like me. Monday, March 26, 2018. Use iptables on Linux to port forward. IPTABLES on Linux can be configured to replace Web Reverse Proxy in some cases to redirect ports. Below is how on Ubuntu. Enter command below in SSH session to redirect port 80 to port 8080. Port 8080 will keep working. Iptables -t nat -A PREROUTING -i eth0 -p tcp - dport 80 -j REDIRECT - to-port 8080. Sudo iptables-save sudo tee /etc/iptables.conf. Posted by Hugh Zhu.
