Tuesday, July 24, 2012. Miscellaneous Mzungu Lady Memories. It is hard to believe that I have been back in the good old US of A for over a week. It is great to be back in a place with traffic laws, back with my family, and back in the comfort of home. I do miss Kenya though. Reflecting back on my time there, I realized I haven't shared some of my stories:. 100 Cows as a Dowry. If I am worth 100 cows I will not be sold for anything less. More stories to come. Saturday, July 14, 2012. Out of time for Africa. I am about to head to the Kisumu airport. It is so surreal that my 6-week adventure in Kenya is over. Patience, how to bridge intercultural gaps, and how to be a student of the world. That I have a hidden temper- normally just comes out to my sisters/family. I have made 2 grown men (two publishers) tear up on this trip because of how upset I got. I do have the potential to make a difference, but it takes being around the right people to be successful.

Helping to changing the world takes a lot of time and concentration! Here is what I have been up to over the past 3 weeks:. Visited Wema Children's Centre. Near the Ugandan border: June 23. Went to a pre-historic crater. Where the dinosaurs became extinct? Went on Safari at Lake Nakuru. Became a Published Author.
