Wednesday, May 18, 2011. I've always known this but it has never been clearer than in the past two weeks: a mother's work NEVER stops. It doesn't matter if you are the mother of an infant or your children have children and maybe even grandchildren of their own. As each day passes, so does life and motherhood.it just keeps going. I'm not sure what part of my brain thought that having a broken foot might slow life down a little bit, but clearly I was mistaken - the only thing it has slowed down is ME!
