However, the annual Lakes trip took place on the traditional weekend, but the weather was so grim, especially on the Saturday (downpour all day), that very few photos were taken. The Hull MRS P4 layout we in the East Yorkshire Group of the Scalefour Society are building…. The two shops (well, strictly one shop and one piano dealer) are now 99% finished, with only the stones of the yard to paint and weather, and the wooden posts that support the roof edges at the back of the rear extensions to finish. After finishing (or all but…) the two shops on Botanic Gardens, the next building task is to construct the terraced houses that are next door. Actually, there were (and indeed still are) FOUR terraced houses, but the width of our baseboard means there is only room for three of them – hence the title.
