Farm visits are led by two experienced primary school teachers – Diana Cornthwaite and Laurie Seddon who is also a story teller and Forest School Practitioner. During visits we include time in the woodlands where the children take part in activities such as story telling, helping to build a campfire, toasting marshmallows,playing woodland games and investigating the natural environment. This is an important college, for it is here that my sweetheart’s Mother and twin sister were born. Their father was a professor at the school at that time. The accompanying pictures show not only the house but also a giant split tree nearby. Was the tree significant? The local media ran stories on the twin calves, but not the girls.
