If those items are on sale I'll stock my pantry. If they are regular price I'll buy one. I write down what I need ...

http://groceries101.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Little $ = UNHEALTHY! Enter your email address:. Friday, January 29, 2010. Why is it that I'm avoiding the grocery stores? Maybe because there weren't any fabulous deals out there. I don't know why! Today I plan to pick up 2 gallons of milk for drinking and another gallon of whole milk so I can make my own yogurt. I will see if there is any fresh fruit on sale as well. I have been running around being the mom taxi all week long so I think I just need a break from running constantly! Menu Plan through 1/27.

Saving Money: Or does it?
http://groceries101.blogspot.com/2005/12/eating-healthy.html
Little $ = UNHEALTHY! Enter your email address:. Saturday, December 3, 2005. Often times people with low grocery budgets are criticized for not eating "healthy". Each and every person is different and has a different idea of what "healthy eating" means. For me healthy eating means eating a low fat diet, drinking a lot of water and trying to eat more veggies. Serious lack of planning and thought on my part. I completely disagree (respectfully of course! Or I've heard you must soak grains for them to be ab...

It's quite pricey, organic and I can read every word on the label. I will not order this every time, well maybe I will. Yummy! Anyway, here's what I got:. 10 pounds organic carrots (remember when I said I'd never buy organic - never say never). Last time we ate 5 pounds within 10 days! 10 pounds of frozen blueberries. Eaten plain and used in our healthy ice cream.

Saving Money: Shopping for Company
http://groceries101.blogspot.com/2010/09/shopping-for-company.html
Little $ = UNHEALTHY! Enter your email address:. Friday, September 3, 2010. Just wanted to tell you that I bought $50 worth of food today. This food doesn't come out of my grocery budget. I keep our budget as low as I can during "normal" weeks. When we have company, it was way too stressful for me to try and fit those needs/wants into my grocery budget. Now we use entertainment money, vacation money or other random money. It takes a load of stress off of me! You have to do what works for you!
