The Devil Wears Prada: Turkish Edition | The Mechanical Turk
https://istanbullseye.wordpress.com/2008/07/09/the-devil-wears-prada-turkish-edition
Just Another Automaton Living in Istanbul. The Devil Wears Prada: Turkish Edition. There’s been a whirlwind of activity in the past few days and I will do my best to recap the events. I thought I would start off by describing the most boring activity. It also happens to be the inspiration for the title of this post. Can’t think of any. And make sure that the twins have their bound copies of the forthcoming Harry Potter book by 5:00 pm or you’re fired. On July 9, 2008 at 10:43 pm Comments (3). You should ...

The Johnson's: June 2013
http://johnsonistanbuljournal.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 04, 2013. A couple of weeks ago we decided to buy some more flowers and plant them in our yard to add more a little more color. It didn't seem like we bought that much but we planted 41 plants! Billy dug the holes while Bailey and I put in the plants. And the boys just played. I love our yard now. My biggest challenge will be to keep in watered until it takes root and can go on it's own but so far so good! We planted some more lantana, ice plant, vinca and a few other things. Fun stuff to do.

Talking about relationships (of the confusing sort). There are no words to describe the happiness we all feel for you. So, so happy that you have found someone who makes you feel and know how amazing you are. I love you and I love him for loving you for you, too. Hooray! Thats the only thing missing from this post. :).

Cue Mariah Carey.). You are captivated by the magic of letters. You’re always asking, “What does that say? 8221; “Who starts with that letter? I often hear “What’s your favorite…? 8221; You really need to know our favorite everything. For sure? I know that you’re my favorite girl. We’ve had some rough da...

User-agent: * Disallow: /. Friday, April 29, 2011. I absolutely love feeling my little girl move; it's so life-affirming. Sometimes, when I feel her start to move, I lie completely still because I'm afraid that if I move she will stop. I put my hand on my belly and wait for her to finish her acrobatics. Ive been waiting for a post like this! I cant wait to see you! 8:52 AM, April 30, 2011. Me, too (on both accounts)! 9:00 AM, April 30, 2011. 12:01 PM, April 30, 2011. 9:02 AM, May 02, 2011. User-agent: * Disallow: /. Friday, January 06, 2006. Some days, my students leave the classroom and I lay my head on my desk in utter defeat. Other days, I get teary-eyed when I realize that a student doesn’t understand how much I truly care about him. Oh, but I live for the days that, as my students file out the door, I bask in fulfillment and an air of success. Were having a discussion fueled with critical thinking. I had kids stay after class to chat with me about our lesson. 10:25 AM, January 07, 2006.

Loving simple, natural, and intentional living. Increasing the Passion In Your Homemaking. September 11, 2012. I labored diligently to get my house picked up and cleaned today…the floor needed a serious mopping (as evidenced by my baby’s knees and feet which were black from crawling all over the floor), the garage was overflowing with stuff and the car had been kicked out of its home. My windows are overflowing with fingerprints and streak marks. But there is life happening here today. When I view it as ...

http://johnsonistanbuljournal.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 28, 2014. Billy and I had the chance to go to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico over Mother's Day weekend and it was wonderful! I think it was one of the most relaxing vacations we have ever been on. The only thing we did was sleep (I mean sleep a lot! Lay by the pool, eat, take a nap, lay by the pool some more and of course eat! Tuesday, May 27, 2014. Our house was green (which we chose) but then we had gobs of neon green shrubs! The Johnson's: Hiking
http://johnsonistanbuljournal.blogspot.com/2015/04/hiking.html
Sunday, April 19, 2015. The other week we decided to go hiking and have some fun. It was a rare Saturday when we didn't have soccer because of spring break so we went for it! We haven't been really hikers but as the kids get older it is easier to do. Not as much whining from them like, "my feet hurt" "how much further" "are we almost there" you know comments like that that make it SO much fun for the parents! We are for the most part past this and we can all enjoy the hike. Thank goodness! Fun stuff to do.
