Fishing, Hunting, and Camping in Northeastern Utah. Monday, June 1, 2009. Walleye season is back on! Spent all day yesterday fishing at Starvation. It took all day but we caught a number of nice fish. The two biggest being 22" and 21". As you can see we had a couple of really happy fisherman! Fishing, Hunting, and Camping in Northeastern Utah. Thursday, May 14, 2009. Spring Bass Fishing at Steineker! We spent last weekend at Steineker. We caught over 20 Large Mouth Bass and numerous Bluegill. Sorry I don't have any pics to show off but we forgot the camera. The presentation we used was a very slow drifted worm harness about 20' deep. The action seemed to increase later in the day and into dusk. The morning fish was non-existent.
