Thursday, September 23, 2010. An Update . . . Finally. Ok, all. I've been horrible at blogging. My last post was over a month ago. But I do have a good reason. Several good reasons, in fact. Number one: Moving several states over stinks and takes a ton of time. Number two: I have a job now, an actual, real, full-time job! Number three: I have a 1.5-hour commute to my new job. Number four: I'm still freelancing, as well as doing my other, new job. Number five: I'm still attempting to finish a dissertation.

Monday, August 16, 2010. The Saga of Our Move: Part I. Yes, friends, we are back in Texas now. We have a house. Internet. (Getting internet service was a three-week ordeal that took more time and effort than finding a house, believe it or not.) And when I tried some new shoes on him at Kohl's last week, he kicked his feet happily, pointed at the shoes, and exclaimed, "Ni-i-i-i-i-i-ce! The salesperson almost fell over laughing.)
