In order to become home to the Hurstpierpoint Brewing Company, our first job was to completely refurbish the building and then kit it out with the apparatus necessary for the running of a four-barrel brewing operation. Follow us on Twitter. Welcome to our website! Brewing began in Hurstpierpoint in 1862, when the original Hurst Brewery opened in Cuckfield Road. A century and a half later, the Hurstpierpoint brewing tradition was revived when the Hurstpierpoint Brewing Company Ltd. opened a new brewery in Western Road, Hurstpierpoint and, as a tribute to the Hurst brewers who had gone before them, named it Hurst Brewery. Welcome to Hurstpierpoint Bowling Club
Formed in 1923 and situated in the West Sussex village of Hurstpierpoint, some 10 miles north of Brighton, the Club can claim to play on one of the most attractive Greens in the County. And if all this isn't enough, the Club also runs in house Competitions, culminating in Finals Day which takes place in late August every year! The Green is maintained entirely by the Members, and the Club is justifiably proud of its condition which regularly draws favourable comments from visiting Clubs.
